The VisioN
Gone are the days of making children sit in institutions that make them lose their love for learning. To fill their minds with ineffective knowledge that does not serve their story or give them tests determining their success and placing them in categories displaying their fortune or failure.
We just have to look around to confirm that these methods are failing us, and we just have to listen to that little voice within that tells us it's time to create new systems for ourselves and, most defiantly, for our children.
Bri is re-imaging education, and she is looking for those like-minded families that are ready to put these passions into practice. She believes that every child comes into this world with a unique gift to share and that we are here to embrace those gifts by reclaiming wonder, restoring wisdom, and renewing structures so that they can live a successful, fulfilled, and authentic life.
To Bri, education is the understanding of self and the world around you. It's knowing how to face your emotions when they arise and allowing them to be as they are, not making them right or wrong, but instead letting them flow through and offering you a deeper understanding of your wants, needs, and desires. Education is being part of a community that values your successes and guides you through your failures with no judgment but rather inspires you to try again. Education is learning that how we align our energy will be the result of our outer reality. It's taking the risk that speaks to your heart and trying something new without fearing the unknown. And most importantly, education is play. It's discovering and wondering. It's experimenting and challenging your theories; it's having fun and diving into the wisdom that lies within you.
She is here to create a new structure, offering a welcoming environment filled with incredible things to inspire young learners. We draw in creations from various approaches, including Waldorf, Montessori, & Reggio Emilia, and find inspiration from individuals including Peter Gray, John Holt, Ainsley Arment, Laura Sanderfer, and many, many more!
Bri is here to offer a place for kids to be, become, and belong. She wants to savor their imaginations and keep this spark alive; she wants to prove that every child can create magnificent magic given the right environment and guidance.
