Brihte at Home
November: Then & Now
Every child arrives in this world already curious.
At Brihte Studio, we believe every child is made on purpose. We teach children how to think, not what to think. We help them discover who they are, and we give them real things to make with their hands. This guide brings that way of learning into your home.
This month: Then & Now
Each week, your child meets a person from history who changed how we live. They ask a Big Question and make something real.
Week 1 · Light: Benjamin Franklin. Roll beeswax candles and try static electricity experiments.
Week 2 · Messages: Samuel Morse. Make secret code bracelets and write thank-you letters.
Week 3 · Flight: The Wright Brothers. Run a glider design lab and interview an elder about life long ago.
Week 4 · Stories: Johannes Gutenberg. Do foam block printing and make a handmade Then & Now book.
The Gratitude Tree
All month long, your child answers one question on a paper leaf and adds it to a tree on your wall. By Thanksgiving, you’ll have a month of their thankfulness to keep.
