What is Brihte Studio?
Brihte Studio is an enrichment studio for kids ages 5–12 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Two or three days a week, children come together to do real projects, build real friendships, and grow into who they already are. It is designed for homeschool families who want community without giving up flexibility.
Getting Started is Simple.
01 — Register
Fill out the short form and pay your deposit to hold your spot. Enrollment is intentionally small, we keep the cohort tight so every child is known and every family matters.
02 — We'll Be in Touch
Within 48 hours you'll hear from us personally. We'll send your welcome guide, the full schedule, what to bring on day one, and answers to anything still on your mind.
03 — Show Up
That's it. Your child walks in, gets welcomed by name, and becomes part of something real.
New to Homeschooling?
If this is your first-year homeschooling, welcome, you are in good company here. Minnesota makes it straightforward.
Once a year, you file a simple homeschool declaration with your local superintendent by October 1. At the end of the year you take an annual test, there are options for this. That’s it.
When you register with Brihte, we'll send you a one-page guide that walks you through exactly how to file, and what to keep track of throughout the year. We've got you.
Tuition & Deposit
Tuition is based off of which offering you choose, the list is proivided below.
$150 deposit to hold your spot, applied toward your first month's tuition.
Sibling discount, see rates below.
Volunteer discount — families who teach a skill class once a month receive $50 off per month.
Tuition is paid monthly. We believe in access and will always do our best to work with families who need flexibility.
What a day looks like
Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday your child will move through a rhythm that is consistent, grounding, and genuinely fun.
Morning starts with a circle, everyone checks in, sets an intention, and lands in the room together. From there, kids move into self-paced math and reading, a movement break, and then the heart of the day, project time. Real building. Real creating. Real collaboration.
Days end with a closing circle where kids share what they made, earn their Brihte Coins, and say goodbye.
Same structure every day. Always fresh. Always theirs.
